Scotchlite Tricks

If you want light in a window across a lake but have no power to do it, cover it with Scotchlite and shine a light next to camera on it. To make drum sticks glow, cover them with Scotchlite. The closer Scotchlite is to camera the closer the source has to be to camera. If you are with in 40 feet or so the light has to be bounced through a beam splitter in front of the lens. Simple front screen tricks can be easy, but realistic front screen is not easy. Color balance, matching focal lengths, perspectives, depth of field etc. is hard.
